SUBMISSION GUIDELINES TO SINGLE REEL
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 30, 2007

We will do our best to preview late submissions as they come in, but anything received after the May 30 deadline will be considered for the next screening series. Your submission will be considered for all screenings. Single Reel doesn't file films away, we always consider each entry for each screening.

A Few Simple Terms & Rules

• Single Reel is currently only accepting films under 60 mins. If you have a longer film, contact us for further info about entering it to the festival.
• Submissions can be of any genre or category and must be in English or have English subtitles except music videos and films without dialogue.
• Single Reel is currently accepting the following formats: MiniDV, DVD, DVCam, HDV, Quicktime/HD (Both NTSC and PAL formats are accepted.)
• The submission fee of $20 can be paid with a check/money order made out to Dishwasher Studio, or online with a credit card using our Paypal account.
• All submission fees must be paid in U.S. currency. If you are submitting a film from outside the U.S., please pay with a credit card online or with a U.S. check or contact us if you need help.
• All filmmakers will receive notification, whether or not their film is chosen.
• Please include any additional press material, cast and crew bios or any other information about your film. If your film is selected, we will be happy to include that information in our programs and website.
• Submissions will not be returned but if you have a special situation, let us know and we will do our best to work something out.
• Please label your tapes with your name, email, phone number, and the name of the film.

• Should your work be selected to be part of any Single Reel Series, Single Reel and Dishwasher Studio reserve the right to screen your film at any Single Reel screening throughout the year. But we are nice, if there are special conditions, we will respect them.
